Jamie Bowen and playing partner Mike Brightmore narrowly clinched first prize in the second competition of the new BMMI Shops Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club (RGC) with a score of 24 points.
The countback system was used to separate them from runners-up Abdulaziz Ahmed and Khalid Al Omran. Third place was won by the duo of Rob Mills and Sattam Al Gosaibi with 23 points. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Sanne Smith and David Wales, respectively.
More than 20 golfers competed in the Rainbow Challenge and the evening ended with a prize presentation ceremony in the Members’ Lounge.
The night golf series takes place at the Royal Golf Club every Monday. The 9-hole competitions are open to non-members at BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start. To register, email golfevents@theroyalgolfclub.com
