Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) president, inaugurated the Global Businesswomen’s Forum being hosted in the kingdom until tomorrow under the theme of ‘Our Bridges to the World’.
Princess Sabeeka emphasised the importance of such key conferences in extending bridges and communication and rapprochement, as well as opening vistas of co-operation between businesswomen and entrepreneurs from all over the world.
They also allow the exchanging of experiences and ideas which can help boost the economies of countries to achieve sustainable development, she added.
Princess Sabeeka urged the participants to use the platform of dialogue to highlight opportunities and identify challenges.
Princess Lulua Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, from the Princess Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the World Congress of Femmes Chefs d’Enterprises Mondiales president Laura Gucci and the Sultanate of Oman’s expert on family and women empowerment Dr Sharifa Al-Yahyaee spoke at the forum in the presence of more than 300 delegates from 50 countries.
