A new six-week Monday Madness Night Golf Series got underway at the Royal Golf Club, sponsored by Coca-Cola.
The duo of Abdulaziz Ahmed and Sam Jong Kim won the first competition with 26 points, closely followed by runners-up Abdulrahman Al Amar and Khalid Al Omran, who achieved a score of 25.
Ashley Price and playing partner David Fernie clinched third place with 23 points. Ahmed received an additional prize for winning a nearest the pin side contest on the 12th hole while Stewart Tankard was nearest the pin on hole 16.
More than 25 golfers competed in the Rainbow Challenge competition. Tamerate Assefa, from the club’s operations department, presented the prizes.
