Bahraini Nasser Yaqoob narrowly won the May qualifier of the 2015 Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 72. Rob Lane was a close second with the same score after the countback system was used to separate the pair.
Shaker Hubail clinched top spot in division two of the popular members’ series with a nett score of 70 and 2015 Club Captain Badea Esbai was runner-up on 73. In the third division, Tony Meakin took first place on nett 73 and Michael Brightmore was second with 75. Dena Wales won the ladies best nett score category with a score of 70.
All seven players will progress to the Euro Motors BMW Grand Final which will take place at the Royal Golf Club in December.
The next Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal will take place on June 5.
