Dave Fernie and playing partner Adam Wells were crowned champions of the Coca-Cola Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with an overall order of merit total of 12 points.
Abdulrahman Al Amar and Khalid Al Omran were second on 11 points, while husband and wife Nils and Dagfrid Berge came third with 10.
Adnan Al Sowaidi and Sharif Ahmed won the final competition of the series, played in the Greensomes format, with a nett score of 36.6. Fernie and Wells came second which, combined with a win and a third-place finish, was enough to put them at the top of the order of merit. Nearest the pin side contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Al Sowaidi and Stewart Tankard respectively.
Tamerate Assefa, from the club’s operations department, presented the prizes.
