Shopper Sharif Helmi recently won Al Rashid Group’s April raffle draw, securing him BD1,000 worth of vouchers.
The engineer, who is usually dragged to Oasis Mall in East Riffa and Muharraq by his wife Heba for hours of shopping, took part in the retail group’s April Fiesta promotion in which customers are awarded a raffle for every purchase made.
The 31-year-old, from Busaiteen, said: “We entered the raffle around a month-and-a-half ago when Heba heard about the promotion. She took me around from one shop to the next including Max, Centrepoint, Emax and a few other places.
“We received many raffle tickets which in the end secured our win. I was so happy to receive 100 BD10 vouchers which are like a year worth of shopping for us. All her shopping finally paid off!
“I’d like to thank Al Rashid Group for involving the community in their events and for this great promotion. ”
According to Vikas Attri, chief operating officer of Al Rashid Group, which is a part of Landmark Retail, this is one of the many promotions planned by the group.
Mr Attri said: “We wanted to create some kind of activity to keep customers engaged at the mall and enjoy their time there.
“This month-long promotion was very successful. We had a high increase in footfall and it built a bond with the local community.”
