Rob Lane
won the third round of the Audi Quattro qualifying series at the Royal Golf Club with 38 Stableford
points and now tops the series leader board with a total of 105 points.
Naeem Ullah Khan clinched the runners-up spot with 36 points and Mohamed Al Sayed was a close third
with 35 points. Todd Gillespie won the nearest the pin side contest on the 7th hole.
More than 50 competitors turned out for the tournament which was open to both members and visitors
with valid handicap certificates.
The Audi quattro Cup Series is being played out over a total of nine rounds at the Royal Golf Club,
with participants accumulating Stableford points over the series. After the final round, the two
players with the most Stableford points from eight out of nine rounds will be selected to represent
Bahrain as one of the 60 teams competing in the World Finals.
