Abdulaziz Ahmed narrowly won the third and final Bahrain qualifying competition of the Volvo World Golf Challenge 2015, being hosted at the Royal Golf Club (RGC), with a score of 38 points.
The countback system was used to separate Ahmed from runner-up Keith Watson who achieved the same score. Reinhold Lutz clinched third place with 37 points.
Nearest the pin side contests on holes 7 and 12 were won by Rob Lane and Ali Al Kowari, respectively, while a longest drive contest on hole 13 was taken by Harold Hutchins.
Trevor Fletcher, sales manager-Motorcity passenger car division, handed over the trophies to the winners.
A video of the previous finals of the World Volvo Golf Championship was played in the lounge for golfers to get an idea what’s at stake when they compete in the final round at the RGC on November 14.
