Carter Alexander and playing partner Stewart Tankard narrowly won the penultimate round of the six week-long Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a score of 32 on countback, putting them in fifth place on the overall series leader board with six points.
However, it was this week’s runners-up, Eid Adel Meftah and Ebrahim Al Hashel, who top the order of merit with 11 points, just two points clear of the duo of Ali Saleh and Khalid Al Omran.
With just the last event left to play and five points up for grabs, the final event promises to be an exciting one.
Nearest the pin contests on holes 12 and 16 were won by Al Hashel and Pontius Hutapea, respectively.
