Question: Dear Kelly, I am having regular anger outbursts and it is ruining my relationships and my life. I need to learn anger management, what can I do?

Answer: Anger is just the incorrect communication tool. You can learn new ways to communicate yourself to others. Please find below my anger management tips:
1. Forgive yourself. You have just learned to communicate aggressively. You can learn to communicate with compassion and respect.
2. Realise that controlling others to be a certain way is just going to create frustration. As you come into alignment of accepting others for who they are, you can decide who you want in your life and who you do not.
3. Learn to not ‘over-give’. When we do this, with expectations of others returning validation, we create anger.
4. Practice asserting yourself with others, by expressing your needs, feelings and desires in a calm, loving and non- controlling manner.
