Abdulla Al Qutami and playing partner Faris Al Qutami narrowly clinched the win in week two of the latest Porsche Monday Madness Night Golf Series at the Royal Golf Club with a nett score of 29.
The duo of Yusuf Janahi and Ali Al Kowari took the runners-up spot with a score of 30 nett while Rob Lane and Nils Berge narrowly clinched third place with a nett score of 31.
Janahi won an additional prize for coming nearest to the pin on hole 12, while David Wales won the same on hole 16.
More than 30 players took part in the Better Ball Medal tournament played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the challenging Montgomerie championship course.
Sohail Singh, the club’s tournament coordinator, presented the prizes on behalf of Porsche Centre Bahrain.
The series takes place at the club every Monday. The 9-hole competitions are open to non-members at a cost of BD20 per night and tee off with a 6.30pm shotgun start.
