The International Motor Trading Agency has launched the new Geely Emgrand GT at its showroom in Tubli, and is hoping that the model’s recent recognition as the ‘China Car of the Year’ will boost sales in the kingdom.
The model saw off 139 other cars in the competition, held in Guangzhou, China, to earn the honour. The judges praised the Emgrand GT stating: “The car is the first Chinese-branded vehicle to enter into the China Car of the Year competition and it shows that Chinese brands are improving rapidly. By working with international talent, Geely Auto is producing increasingly competitive cars. The Geely Emgrand GT left a strong impression in testing on our panel, in terms of design, engineering and handling.”
The Emgrand GT houses a 2.4L engine and is equipped with multiple advanced features, like push button start, a panoramic sunroof, Eco and Sports driving modes, leather seats, cruise control, visual parking system and more.
