The Second Cup Coffee Company is hoping to
brew up a storm in the kingdom as it celebrates the launch of its latest branch
in Bahrain.
Franchiser Ingress Partners is heating up a
presence in the kingdom, opening a flagship outlet at the Lagoon, Amwaj
Islands, after earlier this year setting up shop in Juffair Mall.
Company executives also spilled the beans
that a third location will be based at El Mercado Mall in Janabiya at a
celebratory get-together.
Second Cup offers free Wi-Fi for social
media advocates, a reading corner for book lovers and a patio section for
outdoor enthusiasts. The café serves Rain Forest Alliance coffees, master-crafted
signature teas, specialty beverages, frozen yogurt and complementary fare,
including both savoury and sweet items, as well as handcrafted merchandise.
Salim Itani, franchise director of Second
Cup Coffee Bahrain, said: “We are committed to serving the best coffees
available globally to the people of Bahrain. We hope our drink and food
assortment will continue to be enjoyed and Second Cup will continue to remain
our guests’ second home.”
Second Cup grew from its beginnings in 1975
in Toronto, Canada, and over the past 41 years the company has expanded
globally to more than 30 regions with 160 cafés operating internationally.
