From the land of Fiesta, Flamenco and Food, the month of November features the best of gastronomic specialties from Spanish gastronomy in Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. Hot & Cold Tapas, Winter Paella, Calamari and Gambas are a few amongst a variety of Spanish delicacies creatively prepared from fresh produce by Chef Jordi, who will be the guest chef at Tapas Restaurant.

Known for organising creative Spanish food festivals around the world, Chef Jordi will be featuring his signature dishes in Tapas Restaurant between November 15-26.

Cellar 59 and DJ Katrin LOVE are hosting a Haunted Circus Halloween party on October 27 at 7pm in the ART Rotana.

 

The Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa will be hosting its fourth Halloween Beach Party on October 28. It will feature delicacies from the grill and drink potions to keep you going all night. Jam to the beats of DJ Dana Jasmin and watch a spooktacular musical performance under the stars from a guest band. Fancy dress is highly recommended.

Tickets are BD38 net per person, inclusive of five drinks and food from the grill. There are room packages available at BD150 per room.

The Dilmun Club Saar, are hosting a Grand Sale on October 29. Come along and bag a bargain! Pre-loved maternity, baby, children and teenage items for sale at fantastic prices. The event will run from 10 am- 1 pm and there will be a 500 fils entrance fee for non-members.

Songs of Praise, with hymns selected by personalities on the island, will be staged as part of the 200-year friendship between the UK and Bahrain, will be held on October 30 at 6.15pm in St Christopher’s Cathedral in Manama. 

The Cathedral will also be hosting a piano recital by Eleonora Stanevich on November 3 at 6.15pm. She will be playing a selection of works by JS Bach, Robert Schumann, Frederic Chopin and Franz Liszt. Tickets will be BD5 for adults and free for children. They will be available in advance from the Cathedral office.
