THE Manama Theatre Club’s next production is Will Shakespeare Save Us! by Paul Nimmo and it will hit the stage on November 9-12 at the British Club in Um Al Hassam.

Tickets cost BD7 and are available from the British Club reception and Al Osra at the Nakheel Centre (opposite St Christopher’s Junior School).

THE Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) is hosting its annual Poppy Ball at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel on November 18. Tickets cost BD35 per person, which includes a buffet, welcome drinks and selected beverages.

In attendance will be guests of honour The Chelsea Pensioners and VIP speaker Lord Digby Jones, the former Minister of State for Trade & Investment.

Tickets can be purchased from the British Club reception from 9am-9pm, from The Bookcase, Budaiya, between 9am-8pm on Sunday-Thursday and 10am-2pm on Fridays, from the Rugby Club, Janabiya, from 9am-9pm, and from the Dilmun Club, Saar, from 9am-9pm.

FROM the land of Fiesta, Flamenco and Food, the month of November features the best of gastronomic specialties from Spanish gastronomy in Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. Hot & Cold Tapas, Winter Paella, Calamari and Gambas are a few amongst a variety of Spanish delicacies creatively prepared from fresh produce by Chef Jordi, who will be the guest chef at Tapas Restaurant.

THE Bahrain Caledonian Society Awali Club’s annual St Andrew’s Ball will take place on November 24 at the Bapco Club, Awali, from 7pm. Entry costs BD30, inclusive of a three-course dinner.
