LULU Hypermarket has pulled out all the stops for shoppers to ‘Discover America’ with a 14-day festival running until Sunday.

American Ambassador to Bahrain, William Roebuck inaugurated the US products bonanza at its Juffair base … and Lulu stores across the kingdom are joining in the fun too.

The celebration provides customers with a range of offers on around 3,000 lines of top American brands and products, including organic and fresh, air-flown fruits and veg, meat, frozen foods and dairy products.

“This is the second time that Lulu Hypermarket is turning the spotlight on our wide range of American goods,” said Lulu regional director Juzer Rupawala, pictured above left next to the ambassador. “Bahrain and America share a vibrant friendship and we have reached out and connected with the community to make them a part of this event.”

With home-style American fare in the hot foods section, the hypermarket is offering customers a complete experience – they can either pick ingredients from the American aisles or take away ready-prepared food.

Ambassador Roebuck, who toured the hypermarket with the touring Harlem Globetrotters team, said efforts such as this festival helped to bring America and Bahrain ‘closer’ and
helped to underscore the commercial and cultural ties between both countries.

The festival is supported by community organisations such as The American Women’s Association and the American Chamber of Commerce in Bahrain.

Don’t miss out … ‘Discover America’ runs till November 6.
