SWEET smelling British fragrance company Jo Malone London recently launched the musky ‘Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense’ for men and women to enjoy.
The rich, potent sap of the Namibian myrrh tree, harvested by hand, mingles with whispers of warm almond and lush vanilla from the tonka bean.
Master perfumer Mathilde Bijaoji said: “There is an atmosphere of addiction and carnal richness to this fragrance which appeals to both men and women. “At the top, there is a hint of lavender and a floral note, creating a comforting and voluptuous opening. The big, rich heart and base note of myrrh is sensual and the tonka brings generosity. It’s captivating and mesmerising.”
The cologne will be available from the beginning of the yew year at its store in City Centre Bahrain and the 100ml bottle is priced at BD73.
