The Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain has notched a prestigious travel industry award for the third time in a row. It picked up its hat-trick of trophies after being voted Best Airport Hotel in the Middle East by international travellers.
Skytrax awards are coveted quality accolades for the world airline and connected industries and are considered a global benchmark of excellence.
The awards were based on nominations and key performance indicators are evaluated like guest experience, hotel service, cleanliness, restaurants, comfort of rooms, as well as accessibility between terminal and hotel.
“An airport hotel isn’t just near the airport - it also has to be an instant haven where guests can count on well-deserved rest, convenient facilities and relaxation options.
“This triple treat – so to speak – is a fantastic kudos that communicates volumes about the consistency in the service and quality we provide,” said Daniel Kaan, general manager, praising his team.
The winners were announced by Skytrax at the recent Passenger Terminal Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which provided a home-coming boost for the Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain’s Dutch GM, after once again outperforming some impressive hotels in neighbouring Dubai and Qatar.
Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax, added: “This is a very competitive region for airport hotels and underlines the high performance standards being achieved by Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain.”
