The handicraft Huarfana Festival is set to return to Bab Al Bahrain this month with the aim of promoting the kingdom’s rich heritage.

Artisans will be exhibiting different handicrafts such as basket weaving, production of traditional musical instruments and wooden boxes, pottery making, ship building and much more during the seven-day festival which is being hosted by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).

The event, which is held from April 12 – 18, is free of charge and will also include live performances by traditional bands.
