Four of the Royal Golf Club’s PGA Professionals, Philip Waine, Ben Stimson, Adam Duston and Nikki Hunter, were soundly beaten by all challengers in a Beat the Pros Challenge at the weekend.
The Texas Scramble competition was played on the club’s par 3 Wee Monty golf course and saw four teams take on the pros. The team comprising Atta Yousafi, Rehman Tipu, Iftikhar Butt and Naeem Khan won the event with a team nett score of 19.9.
The event was rounded off with a prize presentation evening in the club’s Hickory’s members’ lounge for all the prize winners from the first quarter of 2017.
