Rude Health co-founder Nick Barnard, pictured right, visited the kingdom last week to share a variety of the trendy London-based food company’s products and recipes that will be used in Nomad Eatery’s new breakfast menu.
The ‘Eat Right, stay brilliant’ advocate showcased the food and beverage brand’s range of muesli, porridge and granola to invited guests, bloggers and members of the media during last week’s event.
“Nomad is proud to not only be a part of a movement which encourages the importance of good food on both mental and physical well-being, but to be a pioneer for such a movement locally,” said a spokesperson from the restaurant in Seef.
Nick’s book Eat Right includes information on nutrition and techniques for making butter, yogurt, ghee, lard, broth, kimchi, sauerkraut, kefir and kombucha, as well as sprouting grains and activating nuts, alongside more than100 nutrient-rich recipes, pitching a lifestyle rather than just selling a brand.
He and his wife and company co-founder, Camilla, started the enterprise in 2005 and have gone on to receive numerous accolades, including Soil Association Organic Food Awards. In 2013, Nick was crowned World Speciality Porridge Champion.
