Jerome Ackermann has been appointed as the Royal Golf Club’s new retail manager.

He comes from Knysnain South Africa and originally started his career as a primary school student teacher before entering the golf retail industry as Pro Shop Supervisor at the Pezula Championship Golf Course in the Western Cape.

He also spent three years at the prestigious Pinnacle Point Beach, Golf & Heritage Estate where he played a multi-faceted role as pro shop assistant, operations supervisor and golf coordinator.

“This is my first time in the Middle East and I’m looking forward to meeting all the club’s members and guests and to finding ways to further improve their shopping experience at the Royal Golf Club,” he said.
