The popular Oasis Malls in Muharraq and East Riffa are staging a plethora of Ramadan events and special offers.
Weekend activities include stalls, a bazaar and entertainment featuring a falcon display, henna painting, pottery and lots more. Check out the action on the second floor of Oasis Mall East Riffa and the first floor of Oasis Mall Muharraq.
The timings for these special activities are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9pm-midnight.
Another holy month initiative is Clothes for Compassion, a charity drive until June 24 that encourages visitors to make donations at a designated collection point within the mall. Clothes for Compassion bags offered to customers shopping at all the Al Rashid Group outlets can be filled with old or new clothes, shoes, books and toys.
The donations will be delivered to the Al Sanabel Orphans Care Society and later distributed to needy families in Bahrain, Somalia, Syria and Iraq.
Ivan Styk, territory head of Al Rashid Group Bahrain, said: “To celebrate the traditions and customs associated with the holy month, Oasis Malls Bahrain is doing something special. It strengthens the values of generosity and solidarity associated with Ramadan.
“We hope visitors of all ages will come to Oasis Mall Bahrain to celebrate in togetherness and to give generously to those in need.”
The mall hours will extend to 1am until the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. In addition, Ramadan-themed decorations will adorn the mall to add to the festive mood and multiple offers and discounts are being extended from top stores during Ramadan.
