Chef cooks up a treat and proves to be pick of the pros

The annual Think Pink Ladies Charity Pro-Am was staged at the Royal Golf Club and witnessed executive chef and director of food & beverages Paul Gindra, his wife, Stasha, and teammates Trine Colson and Alexandra Heluin, rise to the top in true bake-off style with a winning 92 points over 18 holes.
Eleven teams of four consisting of one professional and three amateurs competed in a four-ball better ball contest.
PGA teaching professional Zander Potgeiter and his team, Caroline T’Kint, Myriam Sudar and Anne Timmers came in a close second with 91 points.
Director of golf Philip Waine and his team featuring Dena Wales, Cristina Fantechi and Jeong Hae Kwak took third place with 90 points.
Participants later enjoyed lunch in Prego restaurant last Wednesday where Royal Golf Club tournament coordinator, Adam Dutson, was on hand for the presentation of clubhouse voucher prizes.
