Al Haddad Motors has made its name selling luxury motors to its army of loyal customers … but its latest range of shiny and sleek models is appealing to a different demographic.
The kingdom’s official distributor of Mercedes-Benz has always been a great friend to people who love collecting the German marque’s official collection items, and it is welcoming 2018 with a new fleet of special limited edition collectible scale models.
These rarities are of the G 500 4x4² and are known as ‘crazy colour’ editions. There have only been 463 scale models built in the entire world, and Bahrain has received 20 of these.
The 1:18 scale models come in eight various special colours and can be seen with special details on the actual G 500 4x4.
Al Haddad’s marketing manager, Imran Sakhawat Ali, said: “Some collectors have been waiting for the model cars to come out and to their surprise a whole new crazy colour edition was introduced.
“One of our regular customers who collects the scale models was so excited to see this special edition that he took the first six pieces on display. Another customer who was a collector couldn’t keep his hands off from the collectibles and purchased two as soon as he saw them on display!”
