This century has brought about many changes. Technology, awareness, globalisation, world-trade, information and so much more. But, it brought one more thing - opinions. And, not only opinions, but avenues to portray them very visibly too.

The other day, I was going through Jurassic World facts and found out how some scientists had picked on it for inaccuracies and I began thinking if for such, otherwise non-controversial portrayals of imagination, we really needed such strong opinions.

The question is, are we not aware as individuals as to what is important and what isn’t important as a topic of discussion and debate. Perhaps, not.

Most open-minded families encourage their members to speak up and express themselves and naturally, we assume that it is all right to form an opinion about anything and everything.

People don’t hesitate from posting hate comments on pictures of celebrities, they don’t shy away from categorising people based on their body type and they certainly don’t avoid sharing their thoughts, however controversial.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but what also goes along is the common-sense that everyone must possess to gauge how welcome their opinions might be in others’ lives and how they may make them feel.
