Painters and sculptors from the Bahrain Arts Society will be showcasing their colourful and detailed pieces at Interiors Expo, which opens on Tuesday, as part of its latest attraction called ‘On the Wall’.

The major event, organised by Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions, is part of a triple series of shows at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The new section will showcase various styles of art work available which can accentuate an interior of a home.

Artists involved include Abbas Al Mosawi, Hussain Milad, Adnan Al Ahmed, Hussain Isa, Omar Al Rashid, Hamed Al Boosta, Mahdi Al Jallawi, Dhawya Alaiwat, Wedad Al Bekr, Shaikha Marwa Al Khalifa, Mahmood Fakhrawi, Mohsin Ghareeb, Haider Al Shaibani, Abderrazak Hamouda, A Elah Al Arab, Mohammed Bahrain, Khalil Al Hashimi, Mohsin Al Taitoon and Ali Al Mahmeed.

Another new feature of the expo is an Interiors Shopper section featuring furniture and accessories for bargain hunters to enjoy.

Jubran Abdulrahaman, managing director of Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions, said: “The new elements will only add to the enjoyment and experience for visitors. This has become for many the annual ‘must attend’ event.”

This exhibition will also coincide with the popular Gulf Construction Expo and Gulf Property Show 2018.

The Gulf Construction Expo, driven by the strategic support of Haji Hassan and Kavalani and Sons, features a range of products from specialist building materials to architectural ironmongery, and will include around 18 exhibiting companies from Saudi Arabia.

The Gulf Property Show will this year surpass its record-breaking size of 2017 and will feature real estate development companies from the kingdom, as well as from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UK and Pakistan. The expo is being supported by the Regulatory Real Estate Authority, the Survey and Land Registration Bureau and the Bahrain Property Development Association.

“The Gulf Construction Expo, Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo provide the biggest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors ever to be staged in the Northern Gulf,” added Jubran.

The strategic sponsors for the Gulf Property Show include Diyar Al Muharraq, Manara Developments, Metropolitan Holding, Gulf Finance House and Eagle Hills (Marassi Al Bahrain). The diamond sponsors are Residence Sharq and the gold sponsors for the event are First Bahrain Real Estate. The Interiors Expo is being sponsored by Hempel and Bakokko.

The exhibitions will be held under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, from April 24 to 26 from 10am to 9pm. Entry is free for all.
