Various five-star hotels and organisations have also rallied to support the charity by staging activities across the island.
October 5: The Harley Davidson Owners Group in Bahrain (HOG) is staging its annual Ride in the Pink Parade. Members will meet at the marque’s dealership at 6am in Budaiya and set off at 8am, making their way to Riffa Views around 8.45am.
October 6: The Muharraq Horse Riding School is staging a Pink Pony Day from 4pm to 7pm at its premises for a fun afternoon of grooming, riding and games. The event is open for children aged four to 14 and tickets are priced at BD3 per child.
October 8: Celebrate Pink at the Capital Club with an exclusive three-course menu dished up by Michelin star chef Daniel Galmiche from 7pm to 11pm on the 52nd floor at the Signature Grill.
It will be held under the patronage of Cecile Longé, the French ambassador and it is BD25 a ticket. Fifty per cent of the proceeds will be donated to Think Pink Bahrain.
October 10: There is a dinner at Mamas Gourmet entitled Villa Mama’s Sufra in collaboration with the charity starting at 8pm. The dress code is pink and white, tickets cost BD25 with 50 per cent going to the charity.
October 11: American Express and The Ritz Carlton-Bahrain are hosting the annual Pink Island Party from 8pm to 1am at the hotel’s private island, including an open buffet and beverages.
The dress code is pink, smart casual and tickets are priced BD25 for members and hotel guests and BD35 for non-members. A donation will be made to the charity.
October 13: The Royal Golf Club is hosting a Think Pink Golf tournament followed by a BBQ, with details to follow.
October 14: There will be an art installation at The Avenues Mall until October 20 for people to leave their supportive imprints on a wall.
October 16: Culinaire & Beyond is organising a charity dinner in collaboration with the Capital Club as part of the Bahrain Hospitality & Restaurant Expo 2018 which is taking place from October 14 to 17.
Three-Michelin-star chef Heinz Beck will be preparing a special menu for guests with the help of Capital Club’s executive chef and team.
Proceeds will be shared with Think Pink Breast Cancer Society and Bahrain Cancer Society.
October 20: Ride for Pink at the third horse parade organised by the Muharraq Horse Riding School from 3pm to 6pm and its BD7 to register.
