Parisian fashion house Chloé pays tribute to the 2020 Lunar New Year by launching a capsule collection based on the year of the Rat which signifies optimism and good fortune.
The brand is celebrating this auspicious occasion with a dramatic line of accessories that also boast a soft approach to colour and figure created by British artist and illustrator Julie Verhoeven. She designed an exclusive motif that renders the rat with joy, painted in a blend of rainbow bright hues and assuming various lively poses. The animal appears like a playful expression of the free-spiritedness at the heart of Chloé.
This imaginative artwork adds an all-over flourish to a selection of new signature pieces including the Mini Chloé C and Aby Lock bags, small leather gifts and the sporty Sonnie sneaker.
Additionally, a series of T-shirts feature the rodent’s whimsical, youthful personality as an image that will continue to delight long after the New Year has come and gone. The items are available at Chloé stores starting mid- January 2020.
