The action-packed film that kept movie-lovers on the edge of their seats, or couches, is back next month with a Netflix sequel that aims to shock and thrill yet again.
In Extraction, Marvel mega man Chris Hemsworth mercenary Tyler Rake was on a deadly mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Now, after barely surviving his grievous wounds from that killer mission Tyler is back, and his team is ready to take on their next assignment in Extraction 2.
Filmmaker (and former stuntman) Sam Hargrave, who is once again on board as director and Joe Russo on script duties, have put together an adrenaline-pumping follow-up that appears to be way more ambitious than the first film.
In fact, the star stated to Total Film Magazine that the stunts on Extraction 2 are the toughest he’s faced yet.
“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” he said. “I’m not exaggerating. At the end of a take, you’re sucking air like you never have before, and everyone drops to their knees. But it’s so much more rewarding. I would love to take this style and integrate it into a Marvel film, if I was ever to do another one.”
