Get ready to be glued to your couch this summer with these movie releases:

 

Wham!

This biopic is about the duo that brought music lovers hits like Last Christmas and Careless Whispers. Formed in London in the 1980s, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley became two of the most influential voices in the music scene. This documentary, directed by Chris Smith, who previously helmed the documentary film FYRE, will reveal the challenges they faced and how Wham!’s work keeps echoing worldwide.

 

Gold Brick

This French flick, also known as CASH, is a heist movie that follows Daniel (Raphaël Quenard), a man who is fed up of making millionaires richer. Daniel works in a perfume factory, and each bottle he helps to pack ends up being sold for 30,000 euros. The smell of success is then in the air when he decides to assemble a crew and build a perfume trafficking empire by smuggling bottles from the factory.

What if your fiancée’s parents were dangerous criminals wanted in multiple countries? What would you do? Adam Sandler has the answer in his latest comedy that puts a fun spin on meeting your loved one’s family for the first time. Adam though has stayed behind the cameras for this project, working only as a producer. As for the cast, it features the likes of Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Pierce Brosnan and Richard Kind.

 

They Cloned Tyrone

This sci-fi, 70s pulp fiction follows a trio of unlikely heroes who accidentally uncover secret government experiments involving cloning. Directed by Juel Taylor and staring Jamie Foxx, John Boyega and Teyonah Parris, this film promises to feature unique visuals combined with a wacky concept and plenty of clever laughs.
