Lookie at Loki

The Asgardian ‘God of Mischief’, known to Marvel Cinematic Universe fans as the beloved anti-hero Loki Laufeyson, is back on TV with the second season of his show.

The much-anticipated series returned on Disney+ last week and since then, it has been non-stop action. The season left off with Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) pushing Loki (Tom Hiddleston) through a time door, leaving her with the opportunity to assassinate He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors).

This leaves the suspicious benefactor trimming timelines to keep a slew of supposedly vicious Kang variants at bay.

His death also caused chaos at the TVA, with timelines branching out and running absolutely amok.

All the fan favourites are back including Owen Wilson’s Mobius M Mobius and Wunmi Mosaku’s B-15. O B (Ke Huy Quan) has also been added to the season.

Spoiler alert: In the first episode, Loki is plagued with some sort of condition called time slipping, ripping him between past, present, and future across multiple branched timelines.

It looks to be intense as Tom Hiddleston from The Guardian said this season is ‘by far the best Marvel TV show in years’.
