Spirited comeback

The first poster for Beetlejuice 2, starring Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton has finally been released.

For those who haven’t heard of the film, the original Beetlejuice was released in 1988 and the storyline follows a dead couple who are trying to scare and kick out a family that had moved into their house.

Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose ‘help’ quickly becomes vicious.

Both the first and  second films are directed by Tim Burton, who has decided to revive nostalgic vibes and bring back the old cast of the original film, including Winona Ryder as Lydia, Catherine O’Hara as her stepmother and Michael Keaton as the Beetlejuice. 

And luckily, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the highly-anticipated film as Variety revealed September 6 as the film’s official release date.
