As part of its off-track entertainment, Bahrain International Circuit will play host to musical icons who will perform live during the F1 weekend.
Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning DJ and producer Zedd is set to enthral the audience with a scintillating act on March 1.
The German creative made his debut in 2012 and has worked with top artists, including English singer Foxes on Clarity, which earned him a 2014 Grammy for Best Dance Recording; American musician Hayley Williams on the RIAA platinum-certified hit Stay The Night, which has racked up more than 950 million streams; and Selena Gomez on the platinum-certified track I Want You To Know, which spent four weeks at number one on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Ending the race weekend and Bahrain’s 20th F1 anniversary celebrations on a high note will be 13-time Grammy nominated DJ and producer Diplo who will have fans grooving on March 2 with his post-race act. Having collaborated with international names like Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Madonna and Bad Bunny to name a few, Diplo is also a member of the iconic Major Lazer, one third of a supergroup with Sia and Labrinth whose debut album has been streamed over three billion times, and half of Silk City with Mark Ronson whose Platinum-certified, Grammy-winning Electricity with Dua Lipa topped charts worldwide.
Fans of all ages will also be able to enjoy incredible performances by a world-class team of circus artists every day throughout the F1 weekend. The internationally renowned Circus Extreme is coming to BIC for the first time, and will offer an exciting blend of a traditional circus experience with a contemporary twist, combining a meticulously orchestrated, high-energy musical accompaniment with a roster of exceptionally skilled performers. Acts will feature acrobats proficient in various disciplines such as parkour, tightrope, pole, BMX, unicycle, hoop, dance, and much more.
Other attractions include carnival rides; kids’ shows featuring some of their favourite Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol and Shimmer and Shine; an F1 Fanzone, and much more.
