Wednesday (April 28 ) Sensei Soufiane Nidbelaid of the Bahrain Aikido Academy located in Somerset Al Fateh in Juffair will be holding an intensive training session today and tomorrow featuring aikido masters from Romania.
The British Club of Bahrain is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a line-up of three tribute acts - Killer Queen, Madonna and Tina Turner on May 6. There will also be a DJ. Tickets are priced at BD18 for members, BD25 for guests, inclusive of food available at cooking stations. There is also a grand anniversary raffle draw giving guests the chance to win a Mini Cooper, diamond watches, gold necklaces and more. This is a closed club event which means access to the club from 7.30pm will be by ticket holders only.
