Wednesday (Dec 8)The Bahrain Welsh Society's traditional Christmas carol sing-along followed by a full Christmas dinner and festive disco at Candles in the Dilmun Club has sold out.
The French Week 2011, to be staged during February 23-March 1, will be themed 'Bahrain Je t'aime' - which means 'I love Bahrain' - and will feature a series of activities focused on culture, entertainment, fashion, sports, retail and food.
The grand finale of the two-month-long Bahrain Financing Company-sponsored inter-club Goodwill Games 2010 conducted by the Indian Club takes place on Friday.
The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam International Short Film Festival will be held at the club's premises in Segaiya on December 17 and 18. A jury, made up of renowned artists, critics, writers, filmmakers, and educators will select the winners. Categories include Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor Male and Best Actor Female. A BKSISFF special Young Filmmaker's Prize will also be awarded to the outstanding film in the Young Filmmaker's Showcase (projects by students ages 13 to 18).
