Seafarers dinner
The Annual Seafarers Charity Dinner dance will be held at the Dilmun Club on September 21. The Dilmun Dixielanders is set to entertain guests. The event will begin at 7330pm and tickets are at BD10 per person.

Rugby 10s
The Bahrain Rugby Club will be hosting the Bahrain Duty Free 10’s Tournament on September 21 at 6pm and September 22 at 11am. The club will have fun events on both days as well — at 10pm on the first and at 6pm the next day.

U can dance
The Sampaguita Club and Restaurant will be holding its grand finale of ballroom and Latin dancing presentation, “U Can Dance” on September 21. The Glips Band will provide music. For more details, contact the club on 17728001 or Jappy Fernandez on 39106589.

Craft fair
The annual Craft fair in Awali has been scheduled for November 4 from 2pm to 8pm. Registration forms will close on October 13 or sooner if tables are booked up. For more information, contact Susan Scott on 17756417 or email at jjscott@batelco.com.bh.

Celebrity club
The Awal Hotel’s Celebrity Club will be hosting the grand finale of its karaoke and Ocho Ocho dance contests on September 22. The event will run from 6pm onwards. Tickets are BD1 per person. It will also feature the Best Couple selection. For more information, contact 17211321 or 39411127.

Youth leadership
The Telegu Kala Samithi and the Shri Gujarati Samaj will be conducting a Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) beginning next week. It will run for eight weeks and is being launched on September 22, at their premises in Adliya. 
The programme is open for members’ children aged between 12 and 18 and will be held every Friday from 4.30 pm to 6.30pm. More information is available at 36419037, 39163266 or 39824381.

Master H at Likwid
Master-H, aka Hassen Gouaned, is set to perform on September 21 at Likwid, on the second floor of the City Centre Hotel in Bahrain. His speciality includes soul, funk, Hip Hop and House.
Doors open at 10pm with a warm-up set by resident K and Master H goes on at midnight sharp. Tickets are BD7 at the door and BD5 for ladies and Likwid ID holders.
This will be Master H’s second visit to Bahrain after a packed out night in March 2005!

Dandiya tickets for sale
The Indian Ladies Association will hold its Annual Dandiya Raas on September 21. Dhol Baje will have Indian singer Vinod Rathod entertaining the crowd. All proceeds from this event will be go towards the expansion of Sneha, the centre for children with special needs.
