● A little bird (she was 4 foot 11) told us of a high-powered executive (fondly referred to as TinTin) who has recently taken up gymnastics.
The first public display of agility was held last Saturday in the lobby of the Al Moayyed Tower. One bystander told the Mill: “It was brilliant two curls and a tuck. And the dismount was perfect too.” After the display, the budding gymnast said he wanted to dedicate the performance to his two ‘close’ friends: Marcus and Fergus. Marcus promised to be there for the next one, although he keeps mumbling about a Tutu…bizarre. Now all we need is someone to get us those security tapes, so we can show the world his skills.
● In a feat of unparalleled heroism a blond superhero rescued a drowning lass from a swimming pool last Thursday somewhere in Zinj. A reverend who happened to be passing by the pool recalled the incident as being absolutely “brilliant mate”. However, the incident did get a bit sordid after the Mill’s reporters found out that the girl, who couldn’t swim, was pushed into the pool by our blond hero himself. Tut, tut, the things people will do for publicity.
