The Royal Society of St George donated BD3,000 to Al Rehma Centre, which provides day care for 50 young Bahrainis aged 15-35 who suffer from serious mental disabilities.
The amount was raised from an opera evening, The Opera in the Park, at the rugby club. The opera organising committee was led by Emma Garrett, whose brother Mark Le Broq, was one of the performers. Other members of the committee are Eva Khattab and Nicki Whitaker.
