Friday (July 20) • Bud Music… Live will entertain Bahrain’s music lovers when it plays host to Mamas Gun featuring 25-year-old singer, musician, composer and producer Andy Platts at Likwid in the City Centre Hotel in Manama. He has co-written songs with musical peers including Toby Smith (Jamiroquai), Mark Hill (Artful Dodger) and Jon Oates (Hall & Oates) and is now performing his music to audiences around the globe. The main elements of this band are groove based, neo soul, funk and jazz. Opening for Mamas Gun are local Bahraini-based artists Seven Feet High, a progressive-rock-metal-pop-funk band. Monday (July 23) • Popular Latin band, La Movida, will be playing at Likwid at the City Centre Hotel in Manama.
