Eighteen women from various cultures and countries will walk down the catwalk on July 26 for the July Rose Beauty Contest that will be held at the Baen Saeng Thai Auditorium in Adliya.

The show will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. All contestants will be trained by choreographer, Albert Gayo. He will discuss the mechanics of proper grooming that includes ramp modeling, hair and make-up, fashion sense, video and photo shoot, public speaking and other things related to personality development. The Hard Rock International’s ‘Ambassadors of Rock Tour’ to the Middle East sets the stage for P!nk on September 5 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. Doors open by 6pm and the show starts at 10pm.

A Latin and standard ballroom dancing competition is being organised at the Sampaguita Club in Moon Plaza Hotel in Umm Al Hassan. The grand finale is planned for September. Daily training classes by professional instructors will be held at the club from 7pm onwards. The contest will have three styles of dancing namely – samba, rumba and the cha cha cha. Celebrations are at the peak to bring in the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Indian Independence Day that falls every year on August 15 at the Indian Club in Gudaibya.
