The Indian Club, Manama, celebrated the grand finale of its summer camp with a colourful event.
Nearly 250 children, aged four to 14, performed at a two-hour long event that featured dancing, skits and music. More than 300 children had participated in the camp, which began on July 2, featuring art and craft, dance, music, cricket, swimming, games and field trips. Chief guest at the finale was Indian Ambassador Balkrishna Shetty, who presented the Summer Camp Souvenir to club president Mathew Joseph in the presence of club secretary-general Sabu Abraham and camp chief co-ordinator K P Aboobacker. Certificates were presented to the children and the teachers were congratulated.
