One of Isa Town's top stores is set to celebrate its second birthday with a series of special deals for customers as its owners look to open up a new hypermarket following its success.

From Friday Home Electronics will launch a week-long, 20 per cent discount on all home appliances as well as bundle-offers with 'crazy price cuts' on selected items.

On spending a minimum of BD50, shoppers will get a chance to win from 2,000 gift items that will include clocks, stereos, mini-washing machines, bar fridges, headsets and more.

The store and its neighbouring Lebanon Trade Centre supermarket is part of the Nader and Ebrahim S/O Hassan Group.

Director Ali Nader Rajab said: "Some of our customers walk in knowing exactly what they want to buy. Others walk in to buy a certain brand they heard was great but usually get attracted to better deals.

"Our committed sales staff and customer service are geared to meet challenges and make our customers feel content about their buy."

Ajit Khadilkar, marketing manager, said: "For the past two years we have maintained a dedicated customer service and have gained the trust of our shoppers.

"We have seen an immense growth in two years - up to 30 per cent in every category from footfalls to items."

Mr Rajab revealed to GulfWeekly that the success of the two Isa Town stores has the company considering opening a new hypermarket combining the best of both businesses under one roof by 2009.

"Most hypermarkets in the kingdom cater for the Western and Indian crowd. We want to focus most of our attention on Bahrainis although we are popular with everyone living in the kingdom," he said.
