I thought the race was fantastic ... as it always is in Melbourne. And, as always, the race was a bit of a lottery. For some reason it tends to throw up a few unusual results and I don't think this year was any different.
The lack of traction control was clear for all to see resulting in a lot of people going off track - but that was even happening during practices so it should have given the teams a clear indication of what was to come.
McLaren looked very competitive, Ferrari didn't look as good as their preseason testing and BMW seems to be having a good run as well.
As for the atmosphere in Melbourne, with 108,000 people present, it was fantastic. It was very much a 'first day of the school year' atmosphere.
I think Hamilton was fantastic and his performance was amazing. He was extremely excited about winning the race and it sort of reassured both him and the team that he has what it takes to win the championship this year.
He was absolutely delighted and the result showed his main competitors that he has a chance. He is the best!
