ONE Bahrain resident is already thinking ahead, preparing her young gymnasts for the 2012 Olympics with the support from Zain Bahrain's Dream team.

Former UK Olympic hopeful Cara Mattias runs CHAOSS (Children's Health Academy of Specialised Sports), a children's gymnastics and sporting club and wants to expand her facilities and take on the training of young Bahrainis for the Olympics in 2012 and for the Special Olympics.

According to the Zain campaign's Board of Trustees, Cara's passion for excellence and clearly-focused game plan to train a Bahraini Olympic gymnastics team with the support of the General Organisation for Youth & Sports has made her the July winner of campaign support.

Zain Bahrain's corporate communications manager Samya Hussain said: "Cara Mattias embodies the Zain values of bringing together people of all cultures and more importantly, she represents the wonderful synergy of the Bahrain community where everyone works together to create centers of excellence that will empower everybody.

"More importantly, it resonates with the positive energy of reaching youngsters and empowering them through faith in their capabilities, hard work and good health."

Now Cara hopes to expand the facilities and take on additional staff to maximise on the children's potential.

She said: "I am really moved and excited at being chosen the July winner of the Zain Dream Campaign.

"Zain's support of my dream, the youth and sports in the kingdom shows the company's commitment to the community. When I trained as an Olympic candidate in 1983, I understood that the support of national government and local businesses in my home city of York was important in order to help me succeed.

"I see this reflected in this valuable support and I would like to thank Zain for creating such a pioneering and commendable way to help the community."

The 'Dreams Come True With Zain' campaign selects one winner each month through a distinguished Board of Trustees to help realise a dream or project that complies with Zain Bahrain's objectives of education, youth empowerment and helping people with special needs.

People can drop a brief summary of their dream into boxes provided for the purpose at Zain Experience Shops throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain or log on to www.bh.zain.com to submit applications.
