Great prizes on offer as greensomes event set for tee-off

The first Royal Golf Club Mixed Open will be held this Friday. The Greensomes tournament will be open to all amateur golfers with a full handicap allowance of 28 for men and 36 for women, 3/4 difference.

Bahrain International Travel have sponsored fabulous Kenyan safari holidays as prizes for the four top-placed pairs in the tournament.

First prize consists of return flights on Ethiopian Airlines from Bahrain to Nairobi for two people, domestic flights on Safarilink from Nairobi to Masai Mara, two nights full board at the Little Governors' Camp including three game drives per day followed by a two-night stay at the Leisure Lodge Golf Resort & Spa located on the south Kenyan coast near Mombasa. Other prizes include short breaks at the Karen Blixen Camp in Masai Mara, the Mara Gypsy Camp and the Mount Kenya Safari Club Fairmont.

Golfers should submit an online entry via the Royal Golf Club website, www.theroyalgolfclub.com. Places will be limited to a maximum of 40 pairs, 80 players.
