Alba's commitment towards ensuring good health and safety at the work place once again received acclaim at the international level after the company won the British Safety Council's International Safety Award 2009 for the third consecutive year.

This will be the second prestigious safety award that Alba has won this year for the third time.

Earlier this year, Alba scored another hat trick after winning the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Award 2009 for the third time in a row.

The company says it has clearly demonstrated its dedication towards improving performance in the area of good health and safety and the well being of its employees.

Entering the British Safety Council Awards reinforces the message that good health and safety is good for business and that the organisation is committed to reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at the work place.

"Participating and winning the award for three years in a row is truly a reward for all our efforts in promoting good health and safety as well as in improving the work environment for our employees," said manager for safety and security, Abdulla Yaqoob Senan, pictu red above.
