The inaugural three-day Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) starts tomorrow at Sakhir airbase - adjacent to the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

Organised by Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs and Farnborough International Limited, it is open to public each day from 9am to 5.30pm.

The show will feature daily flying displays from some of the biggest names in the aviation industry who will demonstrate their latest aircraft from air carriers to business jets and helicopters and fighter jets.

There will also be organised children's activities and attractions including a go-karting arena and traditional heritage village.

Flying displays are scheduled from 1.30pm until 4.30pm every day followed by fireworks at 5pm.

Advance tickets, BD7 for adults and BD3 for children, can be bought at Batelco stores at Seef Mall, City Centre Mall and airport or by calling 8000 8181.

Daily tickets are also available on sale at the BIC where visitors have to park their cars and take a bus to the airbase. Refreshments will be on sale.

A trade show featuring 40 companies will be kept separate from the public attractions.
