The Arsenal Soccer School Bahrain recently started its second 12-week-training programme with more than 330 budding players taking to the field at the Bahrain Football Association ground.

This course couldn't have come at a better time as the school is also organising a World Cup-style three-a-side tournament starting on April 24.

The Bahrain Arsenal Soccer School's senior coach, John Mackenzie, said: "This training programme will help prepare the young players for a chance to compete in the competition with a dream football prize for the winners.

"We have about 20 teams participating of which each squad comprises of four players. The teams will play a minimum of four six-minute games.

"The winning team will receive a once-in-a-lifetime experience as they will be rewarded with an all-expenses paid trip to England to play against other Arsenal Schools at the Emirates Stadium. They will be there for three days for a tour of the stadium and a chance to compete in the International Arsenal Schools' three-a-side Championship."
