Al Safir Hotel & Tower in Juffair opens the festive season at its Savoy CafŽ with a lavish Xmas Day buffet lunch from 12.30 until 3pm. Guests can enjoy carols sung by the in-house choir group and a wide choice of beverages for BD6++ per person. There will also be a Santa Claus. The hotel is also offering a take-away menu with an array of Xmas goodies such as roast turkey, mince pies, stolen, Xmas pudding and yule log.

Farewell 2010 will be celebrated at the Savoy CafŽ on New Year's Eve. The venue will be decorated with candle light from 7pm until midnight. Guests can enjoy tunes from a live performance by a saxophonist. A sumptuous New Eve Gala dinner will be on offer featuring live cooking stations at BD.7.500++ per person

The Dariush Lounge will offer beverages and a complimentary snack buffet from 7pm until midnight on New Year's Eve and the Iraqi restaurant Khan Al Marjan will offer the authentic taste of Iraqi cuisine with a lavish set menu featuring grills and seafood at BD25 net per person.

Popular singers Sagida Baid, Ali al Aseel and Redha al Khayat will perform during the evening.
